Here is a plain solid insert locked in place. The setting insert and a jeweler's insert are sitting on the top. The benchtop and middle shelf are 1 3/8" thick laminated cherry.
Cherry, cherry veneered board, steel drawers, etc. Polyurethane finish on work surfaces. Shellac finish on the cabinets.
